Deputy Provost (Admin)

Born on the 14th of April, 1969 to the family of Alhaji Umaru Saidu Aliyu of Emi Ndamakun Edogi – Dukun Lafiagi ward IV of Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.

He received early Qur’anic Education from his Father and Elementary Primary Education at the L G E A School Edogi Dukun 1974 to 1979. He proceeded to the famous Lafiaji Secondary School for Secondary Education where he obtained the Secondary School Certificate in 1984.

He also received further Education from the School of Health Technology Offa, Diploma for Public Health Superintendents 1985 – 1988, The University of Ilorin, 1996 to 2000, Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education, University of Ibadan, Postgraduate Diploma in the Teaching of Health Sciences (2008), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) 2000-2012, and 2014-2016 for Msc and MPH Programmes respectively. He enrolled into the Ph.D Programme at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2014.

He belongs to many Professional Associations, notably, Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN), National Association of Health Education Teachers (NAHET), Tutors Guild of Nigeria etc.

He is a registered (REHO) and licensed (LEHO) Environmental Health Practioner in Nigeria.

Isiaku N.A is also a Fellow of the West African College of Environmental Health.

He is happily married with children.
